In the toddler room we have a large carpet area for play: and a separate area for messy activities and meal times. We are close to the bathroom for nappy changes and toilet training.

In the room we have lots of space to use up all our energy and show our movement skills to everyone, we also have lots of toys for us to learn new skills and to develop. In the messy area we like to have painting, chalking, water, sand, gloop and lots more fun messy activities. In this room we start to recognise our name, colours, shapes and some numbers. We enjoy playing together or individual but are all great friends. In the warmer weather we like to play in the big garden which we can free flow link from our room and when we can we like to go out into the local community and have adventures.

We have daily diaries which the staff record all we have done that day so everyone can see how much fun we have had and we have our own basket to keep our treasures safe in.

Whilst we are having fun and learning the staff are friendly, happy and always ready to give cuddles and encouraging us. When we try or learn new skills they praise us and record things in our individual development files.
