Some of our policies and procedures

 

Child Protection

Kiddie Kastle Day Nursery has a responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children and young people they come into contact with. The need for guidelines and procedures is important to ensure that this is done with understanding and clarity. In the event of staff suspecting a child may need protection the settings child protection policy for referral will be followed.

Data Protection

Kiddie Kastle Day Nursery are the Data Controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Act.  We collect information from you, and may give or receive information about you from your previous school or Early Years Setting. The information is important for personal data and use it to: support your teaching and learning; monitor and report on your progress; provide appropriate pastoral care, and assess how well your setting is doing.

Non Collection

 

In the event that a child is not collected by an authorised adult at the end of a session/day, the setting puts into practice agreed procedures.  These

In the event that a child is not collected by an authorised adult, we will ensure that the child receives a high standard of care in order to cause as little distress and ensuring the child is cared for safely.

At Kiddie Kastle have a vast amount of policies and procedures covering all areas of the setting. We do ask all Parents to read our parents handbook which contains many polices, a copy is available to borrow and read. Parents are welcome to read all our policies but will not be allowed to take them off the premises due t the importance of them
